A Christmas Prayer
May Christmas this year be a reminder to you of how much God loves you. May the holy day of our Lord’s birth be a beautiful day of grace for you, for the Lord came to make you His very own and gave His life for you and to you.

Simbáng Gabi Mass & Reception
On Sunday, December 22, 2024 at 6:00 PM, the Filipino community at St. Peter the Apostle Church will be hosting the 7th day of the 9-day Simbáng Gabi devotional coordinated by the Filipino Apostolate of the Archdiocese of Newark (FAAN). Simbáng Gabi is a nine-day series of Advent Masses practiced by Roman Catholics in the Philippines in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary in anticipation of Christmas. Any interested parishioners are invited to attend the Mass and the reception following.

Men's Advent Prayer Night
All men are invited to join Father AJ, Father Paul and the Knights of Columbus for a Men's Prayer Night on Friday, December 20th at 7pm at the Knights of Columbus in River Edge (770 Kinderkamack Road). Come and share the reason for the Season. Light refreshments will be served.

Advent Taizé Prayer Service
We invite you to join us in an Advent Taizé Prayer service of song, silence and contemplation on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 7-8pm in the church as we experience this joyful season of preparation and hope.

An Advent Evening of Peace and Friendship 12/17
In celebration of the season Advent and in preparation for the birth of Christ and His second coming, the Small Christian Communities (SCC) core committee is hosting “Advent Evenings of Peace and Friendship” on Tuesdays at 7:30pm in the Chapel and on Zoom from November 26th through December 17th.
Come to prepare your heart and mind for the true meaning of Christmas through casual discussions with others on the coming of Christ, the upcoming Sunday Scriptures, and how it relates to our lives. All are welcome — there is nothing to join. We look forward to sharing this time with you.

Last day of Giving Tree 2024
December 15th is the last day to drop off unwrapped gift donations for the 2024 annual Giving Tree. Gift cards can continue to be donated at any time. Find more details and the wish lists with sign-up links here.

Breakfast with Santa
You are invited to our Annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at 9am in the gym, hosted by St. Peter Academy. Tickets are $20 per person. Ticket includes breakfast from River Edge Diner. We hope you can join us in this fun family event.

Ladies Christmas Tea 2024
The St. Peter’s New Evangelization Ministry will be hosting the annual Ladies Christmas Tea on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at 7:00 PM here at St. Peter’s. This year’s theme is “A Journey to the Manager” with guest speaker Camille Stillson. All ladies are invited to prepare your hearts and minds for the Christmas season. Donations will benefit Mercy House and St. Peter’s Food Pantry.
Ticket sales will be held after all Masses on the weekend of November 16/17th.

Table of 8 - $80
Single ticket - $10
Space is limited, so please gather your friends and family and plan a table for this inspiring event. Each table can have only one hostess, who takes point on inviting her guests, planning the table decorations and organizing who brings what to share.

Advent Parish Mission
We all need a little “face-time” with those we love. Join us on Sunday, December 1st at 7pm as Fr. Paul leads us in an evening of “Face-Time with God.” Encounter a supernatural peace, joy, and love that can only come from God, that which He is ever so delighted to give!

Connect with Coffee & Conversation 12/1 Meeting: Fr. Mike Leads Us Into Advent
Join us for the next CCC meeting on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at 11am (after the 10am Mass) in the Parish Center. Father Mike will join us on the 1st Sunday of Advent and lead us into this wonderful season. We are sure his talk will bring the true spirit of Christmas into our hearts. Please join us!

Troop #184 Wreath Sale
Boy Scout Troop #184 is holding its annual Wreath Fundraiser. In addition to ordering wreathes in advance (by November 25th), parishioners may purchase a wreath after all Masses the weekend of November 30th & December 1st (as supplies lasts).
