The Heritage Fund
As we plan for the next calendar year, our Parish Office wanted to inform parishioners about a less-known way to contribute.
The Heritage Fund is a restricted fund established by St. Peter’s in 2006, with the full support of the Archdiocese. The fund allows parishioners to make donations to help with future needs of the parish and improvements to our buildings and grounds. These donations are not subject to assessment by the Archdiocese, so are fully utilized here at St. Peter’s.
These donations will help us address unexpected repairs or energy bills if needed. They will allow us to make improvements and updates to our buildings and grounds to keep them safe and cared for. They will also allow us to grow and improve our St. Peter’s community experience. The Heritage Fund also gives parishioners an opportunity to designate a donation for a specific purpose in the parish, or in the name of a loved one.
Our “Wish List” for 2024 includes:
Developing Liturgy of the Word for Children Program
Repair windows in Parish Center and new treatments
Increased communication of parish events
New couches for the Youth Room
Unexpected parish expenses
Professional staff development
New lighting for the parking lot
Strengthen security measures
As always, we’re extremely grateful for the generosity of this parish, which keeps St. Peter’s strong and relevant into the future. Please consider donating to this worthy fund.
A direct donation can be made to the Heritage Fund by check made out to St. Peter's Heritage Fund or by donating online through Faith Direct.
