St. Peter Academy Tricky Tray Fundraiser 2023

St. Peter Academy is holding its traditional Tricky Tray fundraiser the night of Friday, October 20th. The community is invited to join in the fun and support our school. Tickets are on sale now through September 29th, and limited — $40 each, with table discounts available.

There are over 100 baskets, a 50/50 raffle, and a slew of great prizes to win such as gift cards to local restaurants, hair salons, family and children’s activities, swim lessons, birthday parties, wine tasting classes and more. Please note that this is an adult only BYOB event which includes a buffet of gourmet wraps, salads and desserts.

Not familiar with this kind of fundraiser? The organizers have provided answers to some FAQs for you:

• What exactly is a Tricky Tray?

  A Tricky Tray is a large fundraiser at St. Peter Academy and might be one of the most exciting nights in our gym this year! When you arrive, you will have the opportunity to buy sheets of raffle tickets that you will drop into over 100 “baskets” for a chance to win a wide variety of prizes! There are over 100 prizes up for raffle that include themed baskets, gift cards to local businesses and MORE! There are plenty of other opportunities to win, like a lotto board, a mystery prize and of course the 50/50! Don’t forget to bring extra cash for the 50/50!

• I haven’t sent in my donation yet. Do you still need it?

  YES! Please continue to send in your donations to the office. We will be collecting donations until September 27th. Don’t forget you can solicit a donation! What does that mean? Ask for a donation from any local business you frequent often such as a hair salon, nail salon, grocery store, gymnastics, dance, karate, gym, etc. Reach out to anyone you know! (People that sell beauty products, nail wraps, Tupperware, pampered chef, etc.)

• When do tickets go on sale and how long will they be on sale for? Is there a discount?

  Tickets are on sale NOW! Send in your payment ASAP as we expect this event to sell out! Spread the word and get your friends and family involved. There is a discount for purchasing an entire table for 8 or 10 guests!

• What time should I arrive? What do I do when I get there? When will I get my BONUS raffle tickets?

  Doors open at 6pm sharp! You will check in at the desk by the door. If you’ve secured a table with a purchase of 8 or 10, it will be reserved under the name of the individual who made the purchase. A volunteer will tell you your table number. To expedite the process at the door we ask that you share your table number with YOUR table guests. If you bought individual tickets, please check in and a volunteer will let you know what table you are seated at.

  There will be plenty of time between 6pm and 8pm to browse the prizes, drop your tickets in the appropriate places, play our games of chance and socialize with friends! Starting at 8pm, the raffle prizes will be pulled and our program will take off from there!

• Will there be food? What should I bring? And what should I wear?

  With your admission fee you will be able to enjoy a delicious buffet of gourmet wraps and salads, followed by a dessert buffet. Our Tricky Tray is an ADULT ONLY BYOB event. Please feel free to bring your favorite alcoholic or non alcoholic drink of choice.

  While it might be hard to imagine a smart casual event in the gym, it tends to be one! One pro tip: dress in layers because it can get pretty warm throughout the night!
