Food Pantry Donations at ShopRite (May/June 2026)
Once again, ShopRite of New Milford is collecting donations for the St. Peter's Food Pantry during the months of May and June. Our most needed donations at this time are canned veggies, beans, spaghetti sauce, mac and cheese, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, and rice. Thank you for your continued support, we couldn't do it without you!
American Heroes (Hallow series)
As we prepare to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, you're invited to join us in a 13-day audio series exploring the inspiring stories of various figures who changed the course of our history through their faith and virtues. In often hidden ways, these men and women responded to the needs and challenges of their time, allowing their actions to flow from contemplation and communion with God.
This series normally would require a Hallow App subscription, but is free for St. Peter's parishioners. To participate, join our parish page on the Hallow App here. Once you've joined, visit our parish page via the "Church" tab and join the "American Heroes" challenge, beginning June 22 and ending on July 4th!
We look forward to learning and praying with you through this fascinating series — and we hope you'll invite someone to join you!

Equal Exchange goods such as coffee, tea, chocolate and nuts will be available for purchase after all Masses in the Gathering Space.

This approach helps combat poverty and promotes environmental sustainability to protect God’s earth.
Organized by the Advocacy for Peace and Justice Ministry.

A Biblical Walk Through the Mass (Hallow Parish Prayer Challenge)
Have you ever wondered why we say what we say—or do what we do—at Mass? Join fellow parishioners in a new, 8-day prayer challenge on our St. Peter the Apostle community page on the Hallow app: A Biblical Walk Through the Mass, beginning May 30th and concluding with the Feast of Corpus Christi.
Led by Dr. Edward Sri, this powerful Hallow course unpacks the biblical foundations of the prayers, postures, and rituals we experience during the Liturgy. Each session brings deeper understanding and renewed meaning to our worship.
To participate, visit our parish community page on Hallow here (or via the “Church” tab if you’ve already downloaded the app and joined our parish page) and join the waitlist for this challenge. The waitlist is expected to open on or around May 16, 2026.
Whether you’re diving deeper into your own faith or just curious to learn more, we look forward to growing in faith and love for the Mass together as a parish family. Please consider inviting someone who may also find this meaningful!
