Stamp Out Despair
Sponsored by Advocacy for Peace & Justice

What is Stamp Out Despair?
Stamp Out Despair is a project run by FirstFriends to help undocumented immigrants who are being detained to be able to write to their family and friends. St. Peter’s Advocacy for Peace & Justice Ministry holds a collection for Stamp Out Despair each October and requests that parishioners donate U.S. and international/global Forever stamps, #10 envelopes, 2-pocket folders, and holiday cards. First Friends then assembles the folders with the writing material and envelopes for distribution to the detainees.

What is the time commitment?
Minimal.

How can I help?
You can help publicize the collection and gather the materials and transport them to First Friends.
