Ministries

All of us have been given some gift to share. As St. Paul writes in his first letter to the Corinthians:

“There are different gifts but the same Spirit; there are different ministries but the same Lord; there are different works but the same God who accomplishes all of them in everyone. To each person the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”
(1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

The many diverse gifts of our parishioners given in service accomplish so many things. Each of us is called to take inventory of our gifts and assess how those gifts might be used in service to others.

The ministries at St. Peter the Apostle Parish are grouped into four clusters:

Ministries of the Word
Ministries of Worship
Ministries of Service
Ministries of Community Building

The Pastoral Council of Ministries, a leadership group of 12 parishioners, represents the four clusters of ministries at St. Peters.
