Carnival Committee

What is the Carnival Committee?
The Carnival is an annual fundraiser held at the end of September each year.  It runs for 4 consecutive days, Thursday through Sunday.

What does the Carnival Committee do?
Members of the committee help in a number of ways including set-up and clean-up, security, and staffing the rides and games. The committee members meet usually two weeks before the carnival for a meeting to go over assignments.

What is required to become part of this ministry?
A desire to help your parish with its fundraising efforts once yearly with a relatively small time commitment.  The ability to work well with others in a fun and friendly environment is a must!

What is the time commitment?
The carnival volunteers work in 3-hour shifts.  With a large number of volunteers this usually means taking only 1 shift.  Attendance at the Carnival Committee Volunteer meeting held 2 weeks prior is also expected.
